There is a spiritual war being waged all around us. God created us to love Him and spend eternity with Him.
But Satan?
Satan doesn’t want God to win. And He doesn’t want us to win either.
Instead of being our cheerleader, Satan is like a voice in the dark corner offering us candy. Sure, it sounds good, but what we get isn’t so sweet.
John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Instead of giving us false promises and short-term pleasure, God offers us a friendship that lasts for eternity. He wants what’s best for us, and no one is more qualified than God to know what that looks like, being our creator and all.
Because Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, we have hope because we already know God has won the war.
Our redeemer lives.
