Better Wisdom

The fear of the Lord is a thread that flows through the book of Proverbs. We’ve already looked at it several times, but there is so much more we can learn. The fear of the Lord is like a well that will never run dry. Just like God’s love for us. And that’s something worth treasuring.

In Matthew 6:21, Jesus said that where our treasure is, that’s where our heart will be. If we have a ton of material riches and love our lives, we belong to this world. On the other hand, if we store up treasures in heaven, we have hope for everlasting life.

I don’t know where today finds you, but I encourage you to treasure the fear of the Lord. Let God soften your heart and fill You with His unending love.
