Bible Besties | The Bleeding Woman
Today’s Bible Besties devotion is about The Bleeding Woman.
For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.”
Mark 5:28
Devotion for Today
She had heard the stories, and this was it. The one person who could make her well was finally here. She knew if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be made well.
So, she went. Full of faith. And that was all it took. It worked, just like she knew it would.
When was the last time you had that kind of faith?
Have you ever experienced it?
I’m not asking if you’ve ever needed a miracle or whether or not you’ve experienced one.
Instead, I’m asking if you believe God is bigger than your problems. If you’ve taken your problems to Him?
So often that’s where I fail.
I know I serve a big God, but I forget to humble myself and rely on Him. I try to live life on my own without trusting in His guidance.
Have you ever found yourself there?
If so, I encourage you to befriend the bleeding woman. We don’t know her name, but her faith is famous. Let her encourage you to take your problems to Jesus. The author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
