Correcting Wisdom
Have you ever caught yourself doing something you shouldn’t have been doing? Or maybe something you didn’t mean to say just kind of slipped out. Life is hard and sometimes it gets the best of us. But that’s why I love today’s Scripture.
If we are doing or saying something we shouldn’t, it’s never too late to put our hand on our mouth. It’s never too late to stop what we are doing and turn back to Jesus. It’s never too late to do the right thing.
I don’t know where today finds you, but I pray that gives you hope. Romans 8:1 tells us that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Jesus. Not even when we do something wrong. 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” That’s the God we have. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
