Today’s Bible verse reminds me of the men in Luke 5:18-20. They brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus and let Him down through the roof so he could be healed. We need to surround ourselves with people who have no trouble bringing us to the feet of Jesus.

The man in Luke 5 was healed because of the faith of his friends. I want to have those type of friends. The other type of friends are those that talk bad about you behind your back. They won’t do go the extra mile, or even offer you a shoulder to cry on. They are always negative and kind of self-centered…

Who we hang out with matters. Personalities rub off on one another. If you surround yourself with negative people, you become a negative person. But if you surround yourself with those who love Jesus, the love of Jesus will invade your life.
