Jesus is Our Refuge
When was the last time you took refuge in God? Have you ever stopped to think about what that really looks like?
I take refuge in God when I get stressed out. For me, that means going to Bible verses I know bring me comfort. I go to God in prayer. Most of all, I trust in Him no matter what comes my way. That isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes it’s downright hard, especially in the midst of heartache. But God is always right there with me. And He’s with you, too.
The next time you get overwhelmed or distraught, I hope you’ll run to Jesus and rest in His embrace. Let God put a hedge of protection around you. Whether you’re anxious or grieving, He can be your refuge.

Father God, thank You for being our refuge in our times of need. I know You are always right there with me and all I have to do is turn into the shadow of Your wings. You are my great God and for that, I am eternally grateful.
