Devotion for Today

Jesus Will Never Leave Us

Do you ever feel alone, like you have no friends and no one you can talk to? I’ve been there. It’s a crummy feeling, but it’s one we can overcome with Jesus.

Jesus promised to be with us always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20). No matter what we’re facing, we can face it with Jesus in our heart and by our side.

Isaiah 41:10 promises, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Over and over again, the Bible tells us not to be afraid, because God is with us, and we can face anything with Jesus.

My soul rests knowing that Jesus will never leave me. No matter what happens in life, Jesus will always be with me. And that’s why I’m thankful for Jesus today.

Prayer of Gospel Gratitude

Father God, thank You for sending Jesus to be with us always. Thank You that because of Christ, I don’t have to face anything alone. Next time I’m feeling lonely, remind me that Jesus is with me always.
