Pondering Wisdom

Years ago, there was a WWJD movement. If you aren’t familiar with that acronym, it stands for “what would Jesus do?” It was a way to pause and consider what Jesus would do in your situation.

Regardless of the choices we make, God is always with us. He’s with us when we are lost and uncertain, and He’s with us when we are overconfident and overstep. In the quiet, He is there. At the rock concert and frat party, He is there. He’s omnipresent – everywhere always.

Psalm 139:7-10 says it this way, “Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” It doesn’t matter where you are, God is always with you. Wisdom begs us to remember that and consider it as we walk through each day. How would your day change if you remembered God was right there next to you every step of the way?
