Saving Wisdom

Romans 3:23 says that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” And Romans 6:23 tells us the wages of sin is death. But here’s the thing, Romans 5:8 tells us that “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That’s how much God loves us.

Because of what Christ did for us, our response is one of praise and gratitude. Not just that, but when we believe what God’s Word says, it brings us to the fear of the Lord we talked about on day one. Not being afraid, but recognizing the power and position He holds as God and the creator of everything.

And as long as we’re alive, it’s never too late to fear the Lord. God wants us to turn away from the snares of death and be reunited with Him. He is longing to love us. He sent His Son to save us. That says quite a bit about God’s love for us.
