We Can Overcome Anything with Jesus

Romans 12:21 tells us, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” But that is so much easier said than done. There are so many things I struggle with every day, and I don’t always overcome. That’s why I’m thankful for Jesus.

I’m thankful for Jesus because even when I don’t overcome, I can take heart knowing He has overcome the world (John 16:33). With Christ, I am an overcomer, even when it’s hard. Romans 8:37 says, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Jesus helps us overcome sin and death, but He’s also there to help us through our daily struggles. He can help us overcome anything if we trust Him with it. He gives us hope for a better tomorrow. When we put our trust in Him, we can be overcomers, and that’s something I am grateful for.

Prayer of Gospel Gratitude

Father God, thank You for helping me be an overcomer. Thank You for giving me grace when I fail. Thank You for helping me get up, dust myself off, and try again. Thank You for giving me hope.
